The upstairs features 3 bedroom areas in an open plan space divided by beams. The area with two single beds has a pull down curtain to close off the space. Your hosts Lisa and Josh welcome you to The Post Barn, formerly the annexe of the village post office, now restored for those who wish to walk, run or cycle in the surrounding countryside...or enjoy all that Winchester has to offer.

My family and I have lived in and around Winchester for 10 years. We have never been happier than when living in Sparsholt, a beautiful, friendly and peaceful village surrounded by stunning countryside. We are a healthy and creative family. We spend as much time as possible outdoors walking, running and cycling and know the best routes around us, regardless of whether you want to walk for an hour or ride 100 miles! We find the countryside to be both relaxing and energising, not to mention a great creative inspiration. Artists sometimes stay in The Post Barn and their work adorns the walls, available to buy. Our own house is immediately next door to The Post Barn. We love where we live and we’re proud to share it with you. Sparsholt is a gorgeous Hampshire village with local pub, local luxury hotel, village shop and miles and miles of tacks and trails through varied countryside and forest, on our doorstep. We are 15-20 minutes from many Hampshire villages including Stockbridge and Alresford. Southampton is 20 minutes drive, we’re 30mins from the majestic New Forest and 45 mins fro the coast, be that the wonderful Witterings or Bournemouth’s beaches.
