The cottage is beautifully appointed with exposed beams, a cosy log burner, and range oven - combining rustic warmth with elegant, neutral tones.

With easy access to stunning coastal views and scenic under-cliff walks, it's ideally positioned for those eager to explore both the shoreline and the South Downs National Park.
Inside, the cottage blends country warmth with stylish, neutral decor. Exposed beams, a log burner, and modern comforts ensure a relaxing stay. The fully equipped kitchen includes a range oven/hob, washer dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and ample cookware, crockery, and glassware Plus a Nespresso Virtuo Pop coffee machine (some pods will be available). A breakfast bar offers a cozy spot for meals (seats 4 comfortably), and complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, and cooking essentials are provided for your convenience. Note: There is no dining table.
The inviting living room features a plush velvet sofa that converts into a double bed, a comfortable occasional chair, and a wall-mounted Smart TV. Glass doors lead to a private terrace, allowing natural light to flood the space throughout the day, creating a bright and airy retreat.
There is a toilet/cloakroom downstairs.
Upstairs, two well-appointed bedrooms offer restful nights. One features a double bed, while the other boasts a king-size bed and a wall-mounted Smart TV. Both rooms retain their original exposed beams and provide storage.
The family bathroom upstairs has full bath/shower/sink and toilet.

A short walk from the cottage leads to Rottingdean Beach, a beautiful pebbled stretch perfect for invigorating Undercliff walks. Enjoy stunning sea views from Molly’s Café, making it an ideal spot to relax year-round - without the crowds of busier coastal destinations.
Rottingdean’s historic high street and seafront are home to an excellent variety of restaurants, cafés, and takeaways to suit every taste, from early morning breakfasts to late-night treats.
With several pubs to choose from, including the historic Ye Olde Black Horse - dating back to 1513 - and The White Horses, which boasts breathtaking sea views, there’s little reason to venture far. However, Brighton is just a 15-minute ride on the regular ‘Coaster’ bus or a quick drive along the scenic coastal road, with Brighton Marina conveniently en route for a quick stopover.
Nextdoor to the Mews Cottage is The Duck Inn which offers a lively yet welcoming atmosphere with alfresco dining, BBQs, and occasional live music. While it can be bustling on sunny days, the pub’s owners are considerate of their neighbours, adhering to a strict 10pm curfew to maintain a peaceful ambiance. Note The Mews Cottage courtyard backs onto the pub garden.
