This is a love nest for a couple looking for some privacy. It has a quirky design, sea and cliff glimpses, private off street parking and a cottage garden with table and seating. Designed to be cosy & comfortable all year round. Please note the flat is not suitable for those with mobility issues as there are steep stairs to the front door (these can be seen in the photos).

I have lived in Lyme Regis with my husband and our 2 sons (both away at University now) for over 20 years after leaving London. My husband John grew up here so knows the local area really well. He can tell you for example, where the best fossils are to be found, the best local walks or about secret places that are not listed in the guidebooks. I am a keen gardener and depending on the time of year the garden is full of flowers and vegetables. We like to travel, staying in places that are friendly, comfortable and relaxed. We hope that our guests will feel the same way when they stay at 'Bentley Rise'. The family live adjacent in the thatched main house and when possible will be here to welcome guests. Lyme Regis is a charming little town on the Dorset/Devon border. Part of the UNESCO World Heritage Coast it is world famous for its fossils and unique harbour wall called the Cobb. There are plenty of restaurants and shops and the town is small enough to walk around. The beaches are safe and perfect for swimming. Although Lyme Regis can get very busy in the Summer months it has a more relaxed feeling off season. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and generally very unspoilt. Lyme Regis is the perfect place to base yourself for an English break, be it long or short!
