Philip and I have ran old kiln farm for the last 6 1/2 years . Philip lives in the main house with wife Lisa and daughter. Philip was a Ranger for the lake District and very knowledgeable about our area . He also works on our family family 5 miles away with his dad Joe . Vera (me) retired A/E nurse spent the last 6 years developing and expanding Old kiln farm . Joe and I now live in the barn we finished 1 year ago in the farm yard next to the 2 new cottages we have just finished for holiday let's , cross beck and black dub cottages . We also offer touring site for 5 tourers and we have 3 pods and shepherds hut, and in summer we have a pop up camping field.

Main bathroom roll top bath. . Dog friendly with enclosed seating area. Views of criffel and farm fields with our sheep and some pet sheep who like biscuits . We are working farm and from April we start lambing. We also offer 3 other cottages Next to Black Dub is Cross beck cottage 3 bedroom , Seaview under renovation at present will be a 3 bedroom ( open for April ) Dove cottage 1 bedroom , all have enclosed seating areas to enjoy the beautiful views of Skiddaw and the scottish coast line , 100 metres from the beach. Ideal for large family holidays. Our cottages are set in a quiet setting next to our small farm , on the Solway coast Allonby . Allonby has been designated an area of outstanding natural beauty, located to explore the surrounding areas, including the Lake District National parks . We have excellent routes, costal path for walkers and cyclists . From cottage to Allonby takes 15 minutes walk using coastal path or beach . We have 2 pubs ,coffee shop, ice cream parlour/general store .

We are 1/4 mile outside the village of Allonby . 100 metres from beach , ideal for walking dogs , paddle boarding and fishing . 10 minutes drive to golf course .
