Its a small, traditional, but cozy shepherd's hut in the grounds of my pub The Blue Bell Inn Halkyn CH8 8DL . We are open 7 days a week 12pm till 11pm , situated on top of Halkyn Mountain. The hut has excellent WiFi for your use if needed. The hut doesn't have a television has a DAB radio . Has Hot and cold running water inside . and a outside shower & toilet , (which is a new porta loo converted into a shower room) , the bed is a small double 6ft and is elevated about 2 feet so there is a step to get in. It's small but very cosy and warm has all facilities needed to stay . There is a lock box with a code for key which is given when you arrive . The bedding is changed after every quest leaves on a singular basis or every few days long stay , there is always spare clean bedding under the bed if needed.
Our hut is on the grounds of my pub, The Blue Bell Inn in the top right hand side of the carpark so nice and quiet. we don't serve hot food, only sandwiches and some snacks and serve hot drinks . We have various drinks on tap, including Real Ales and plenty of real Ciders and spirits to choose from .We have a pool table inside the pub, quizzes every fortnight, and fish & chips outside catering every fortnight. We've won many awards for our ales and real ciders and pride ourselves for this.
We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and there are some lovely walks on the mountain just behind us . Once a lead mining area, there are lots to see relevant to this, for example, old kilns from the roman era . Inside the pub there are various pictures to see of what was like one time. There are a couple of nice places to eat locally which you can get details from behind the bar. We are on a bus route to Mold or Holywell which are old market towns. Mold has a market on Wednesday and Saturday it also has many eating houses and facilities. Driving to Mold or Holywell is around 10 minutes.
