A stone's throw from the beach where you'll find families enjoying coastal life including fishing, crabbing and building sand castles. Happy Mount Park offering crazy golf, bowling, children's splash park and nature walks is just a 5 minute stroll. For golf enthusiasts Morecambe Golf Club is also right on your door step and Heysham Golf Club is also only a 15 minute drive. Princes Crescent located on the street behind Bobby's offers charming boutiques, art shops, coffee shop, bakery, butchers and micro pubs. The Dog and Partridge and Owl's Nest pubs are also a short walk away. Bare Lane train station which connects to Lancaster and the main line, is approximately a 10 minute walk. Guest access Bobby's by the Sea is located on the first floor above Forrest Solicitors. Access is through the large double gates at the rear of the property and the private access is the door on the left. We'll provide you with a code for the key safe for your arrival. Other things to note Bobby's by the Sea is located in Bare village, turn left on the promenade and take a leisurely walk about 20-30 minutes into Morecambe where you'll find the famous Eric Morecambe statue, restaurants, pubs, arcades, children's play areas, bowling alley, cinema and shops. Whilst you're here you must visit the Midland Hotel a great example of Art Deco architecture and the Stone Jetty where you'll find a lovely cafe and people fishing. Morecambe promenade is 4.2 miles long and takes you all the way to the historic Heysham Village where you'll find Viking artefacts, the famous Saxon stone cut graves, St Patricks chapel dating from around 750 AD and St Peters church 800 AD. Bobby's is the ideal location to use as a base for exploring The Lake District, Morecambe is often described as the 'Gateway to the Lakes' and can be reached by car in less than an hour. The local buses run a 'North West Explorer' which will take you right in to Windermere and beyond and this can be caught on the promenade
