The property is a beautifully restored miners cottage in the heart of the Forest of Dean, recently refurbished to a high standard, this 3 bedroom cottage is well equipped for families, dog owners and cyclists keen to explore the local area. The cottage has a Sync EV 7.2kw charging point next to the driveway, we operate a not for profit policy on power use, only billing for power used to charge your vehicles. A deposit of 10 pounds per vehicle per night is required. We offer secure a secure bike store with space for at least 4 bikes, the bike store has 2 ground anchors with security chains and locks. Guests are also welcome to store expensive bikes in the house if they wish. Regretfully we can no longer accept all male work parties due to past misconduct incidents, if guests smoke in the property or behave in an antisocial manner they will be asked to leave, this is non negotiable.

We live next door and will be available if you have any problems. We are happy to offer advice about the local area and have an in depth knowledge of local walking and mountain biking routes.

The cottage has easy access to forest walks within a short stroll. Local shops are also within walking distance. There are many beautiful tourist locations nearby, such as local lakes, the sculpture trail and the Wye valley AONB. There are local bus services connecting the towns, but the best way to travel around the Forest of Dean is by car. It is easy to find places to park, and the car parking fees are reasonably priced for the major tourist attractions.
