The BA is a traditional English inn which has been refurbished to reflect the expectations of today's guests without losing any of its character.

The BA is a 16th century thatched Inn and is one of the oldest buildings in West Bay. There are 11 boutique bedrooms ranging from an intimate cosy room to a magnificent beachside suite with stunning sea views. There are six bedrooms above the original building and five beach facing & dual level suites in the newer wing. Some rooms have interconnecting doors or are situated next door to each other, so ideal for couples staying with children aged 12 and above. One adult must stay in the room with the child as all rooms can only accommodate two persons. All 11 rooms have been refurbished with beautiful, spacious bathrooms, high quality bed linen, seating area, Dyson hairdryers, Nespresso machines and White Company toiletries. Staying at the BA allows you the unique combination of the traditional English seaside at West Bay coupled with the historic town of Bridport with its quirky shops, twice weekly market & fascinating architecture a five-minute drive away. We are dedicated to serving freshly cooked food using local ingredients based on availability, with the harbour next door there is an emphasis on fish but also a commitment to all the fantastic produce available throughout Dorset. The menu will change with the seasons & range from small plates to daily specials reflecting what has been landed that day, vegan, vegetarian & gluten free options will always be available.

West Bay is the major gateway to the Jurassic Coast set amid the stunning golden glow of the of the sandstone cliffs and the Golden Cap. West Bay nestles south of Bridport, between Eype with Seatown to the west and Freshwater with Burton Bradstock to the east. From the end of the Jurassic Pier you can view the coast from South Devon to Portland in Dorset.
