Beautiful modern double bedroom with ensuite shower room and with separate entrance. The room is spacious and comfortable with a king size bed and tea and coffee making facilities., and an ensuite shower room and toilet. Continental breakfast will be set out in the Garden Room and includes a variety of cereals, fruit, local breads, and home made jams, and croissants. Guests can enjoy the privacy of their own room, but are very welcome to explore our three acres of garden and paddocks. In the season, you could spend some time picking raspberries, strawberries or blueberries to have with your breakfast.

We are an active retired couple who love walking the moors and who know the area well. Please ask if you need advice or would like to use our collection of maps and guide books. We speak reasonable French and a little German.

Our bungalow is situated on the Tavistock to Lydford road, about 3 miles from Tavistock and enjoys wonderful views of Dartmoor to the East and Plymouth to the South. The location is very rural and can certainly offer peace and quiet. Tavistock is a few minutes away by car and has a full range of shopping and eating facilities. The road from Lydford to Tavistock is a popular cycling route and we have a locked barn to house cycles overnight. The location is suitable for business visitors to the Plymouth area, also as a stopover for those travelling to and from Cornwall.
