Victoria
This is a cosy cheerful welsh slate cottage with a wood burner. The cottage is well presented and perfect for relaxing or using as a base while you go out and about. It could also be perfect as a writers retreat. Fresh eggs are available from Victoria's chickens and ducks. In summer there is an outdoor fire area in the garden by the river. The garden is not at the back of the cottage but a very short walk down the lane and through the veg patch. Please note the cottage is old and original and the stairs are steep for some people. The shower is inside the bath. The shower is electric, however, if you like a bath, the tank is small so the bath cannot be filled.
I live next door to the property which I bought in October 2022. I really enjoy hosting and making the cottage lovely for guests. I am available for any questions you may have about the area or information needed.
The neighbourhood is classic rural Wales. Very beautiful with sheep and cattle in the fields, and a great local pub for food and drink. The cottage is a ten minute drive from the beautiful seaside village of Aberdyfi and ten minutes drive from the historical town of Machynlleth. There are some lovely walks from the cottage.
