This small, family-run metro hotel has easy access by bus to Edinburgh city centre, less than 2 miles away. It offers free on-street parking, free WiFi, en-suite rooms and a bar. The Hotel Ceilidh-Donia is in a quiet residential area, just off Dalkeith Road, a major route into Edinburgh. Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station, Edinburgh Castle and the shops of Princes Street are within a 15-minute bus ride. The Victorian building mixes original character and modern comforts. The rooms all have a flat-screen TV, iPod dock, and facilities for making tea and coffee. Guests can also enjoy hairdryers and modern en-suite power showers. The bar offers a TV, bar snacks, DVDs, books, and a computer with printing facilities. There is also a guest lounge, which leads onto the gardens and decked terrace.
