Within 5 minutes’ walk of the train station and lively city centre, Central Backpackers offers hostel accommodation with free WiFi, 24-hour access and a convenient location. The hostel has its own bar and rooftop terrace, and offers luggage storage and laundry services. There are mixed and female dormitories with shared bathroom facilities, with towels and bed linen provided. All dorms have lockers and a secure swipe-card entry system. There is also a lounge area with TV and DVD player. There is a dining room, and free tea and coffee in the kitchen. Run by experienced backpackers, the hostel is within walking distance of Oxford’s many restaurants, cafés and shops, as well as iconic landmarks including the Bodleian Library and Oxford Castle. The New Theatre and Odeon Cinema on vibrant George Street are around 4 minutes away.
