This peaceful, 5 Star rated (by Visit Scotland), B&B has beautiful views over Loch Kindebig and is 5 minutes from Tarbet Ferry Terminal. It offers free Wi-Fi and breakfasts made with local produce. Ceol na Mara is well located for exploring the Isle of Harris and Isle of Lewis. Stornoway is a 45-minute drive away and Luskentyre Beach is 20 minutes by car. Welcome to Ceol na Mara, our lovely home in the Outer Hebrides! We are Andy and Elly your hosts. We love the Island on which we live, the beaches, the mountains and the sea. We have what we feel is a lovely home that we like to share with visitors from all corners of the globe. We have horses and chickens on our croft, two friendly pet Spaniels and two cats, Mittens and Phoebe. Andy loves to fish for salmon and trout as well as sea fishing, he also likes to cook and enjoys a friendly chat with our guests. Elly loves anything on four legs but particularly horses which has been a life long passion. She loves to plant trees and flowers and has a passion for nature and wilderness!

Ceol na Mara is a very peaceful and picturesque location within driving distance of most of the islands beaches and visitor attractions. We offer a large quality 2 course breakfast menu with a great choice of dishes to suit all tastes. We source as much of our produce locally where possible such as locall butchers bacon, sausages and black pudding and eggs from the croft.

Ceol na Mara sits in the small quiet hamlet of Direcleit just outside Tarbert, the main town in Harris. Guests come to stay for the peace and quiet and views from the house. We are situated just a short drive from the ferry terminal and all of the islands wonderful beaches.
