My beautiful cottage in Cowes, on the Isle of Wight is only an 8 minutes’ walk from the centre of Cowes, filled with bars, restaurants and shops and just a 12-minute walk to the lovely pebbly and grassed bank beach where you can watch the boats and ferries pass by. The cottage is situated on a quiet no through road, the only sounds you will wake up to are the calls of the seagulls. Fully furnished for 4 people, this comfortable, fully redecorated cottage, with lovely seaside features will be the perfect stay for you.
Hello, I’m Sarah and I am so happy to share Cowes Cottage with you. I spend my time between Buckinghamshire and the Isle of Wight. I have family in both places and buying Cowes Cottage was a dream come true for me. I love that I have a little piece of this beautiful Island to call home. My hobbies include walking – especially along the Promenade in Cowes or escaping to one of the tranquil beaches on the Isle of Wight, I also love eating out – and there are plenty of delicious restaurants in Cowes to choose from and last, but not least my family is especially important to me, and I love spending time with my husband, my 3 daughters, my sisters and my mum.
Situated in a quiet cul de sac in Cowes, this cottage is opposite the old ship building yard. You can catch glimpses of the River Medina and hear the seagulls. It is only a few minutes’ walk to Cowes Town Centre, The Red Funnel Redjet terminal and Cowes Beach. The Cottage is a 10-minute walk from The Red Funnel Redjet terminal to Southampton and a 10 minute walk (via the floating bridge) from the Car Ferry at East Cowes (which also goes to Southampton). Cowes has a regular bus connection (every 7 minutes at peak times) to Newport and the connections beyond. East Cowes has a regular service to Ryde via Osborne House. We are able to offer our guests a 15% discount code for Red Funnel ferries on booking, if requested. I hope you enjoy staying in my cottage as much as I do.
