Hello I am Lis! These are the first words you will hear when you arrive at Chestnuts. I love running our B&B in one of the most beautiful places in England. Born in Yorkshire and raised in Cape Town I love everything to do with holidays - whether I'm going on one or hosting one. I really enjoy doing what I do, and I derive most of our satisfaction from giving everybody a really relaxing holiday, if you're here for 2 days or 2 weeks, we like to make sure that your stay with us is 100% enjoyable. Our aim is not to be a boutique type establishment , and you will not find the latest gadgetry in the rooms. But we do try and make everything as comfortable as we possibly can, and work hard to put it right if it is not. So come on over, we are waiting to welcome you all to our little haven

Bourton on the Water needs no introduction – often referred to as ‘The Venice of the Cotswolds’- it is one of the largest and most popular villages. Chestnuts B&B offers a selection of bespoke ensuite rooms in an unrivalled location. Our rooms range from larger ones overlooking the village to smaller ones which are perfect for the traveller looking to have a peaceful night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. All our guests are offered a delicious homecooked breakfast. Our location is perfect! It’s not uncommon for guests to pop downstairs into the village and come back to drop off their shopping – we are that close to the shops restaurants and museums.

Chestnuts B&B is a 300 year old listed building and is conveniently located in the very center of the village, overlooking the village green and the River Windrush which flows through the Cotswold countryside on its journey to the Thames. We have been awarded the 3 Star Silver Award for excellence.
