Coldingham, with it's two village pubs and ancient Priory has much to offer. Just a few minutes from the town's safe-for-swimming sandy beach and just a little further to spectacular St Abbs beach with it's famous lighthouse and lifeboat, and a fine little restaurant. 3 miles from Eyemouth, a busy fishing resort with it's own golf club, and not far from the English Border at Berwick, 16 miles easy drive. There is a garden area with picnic benches. Half an hours drive brings you to the fascinating towns of Dunbar and Haddington, and dozens of interesting seaside resorts including North Berwick. The nearest airport is in Edinburgh, 50 miles away. For the angler, Coldingham Loch provides some excellent fresh-water fishing, and the nearby sea is famed both for its fishing and for exploring the underwater world in the various diving clubs and schools.
