Coombe House is family run by Allen and Jen, we have been here for fifteen years and built up the business ourselves since 2005. We take enormous pride in making every visit to our home very special and everything we would expect ourselves if staying away. Every aspect of our home from crisp bed linen to five star cleanliness and the amazing breakfast we cook and serve, is carefully chosen and provided by us. We prefer to do it all ourselves, and through hard work we have achieved the highest Trip Adviser rating for the area for at least ten years. Coombe House is a family run guesthouse located in Kingsand and Cawsand on the Rame Peninsula. It was extensively bombed in World War II, the house has been completely renovated and refurbished to incorporate many of its original features and offers a very high standard of accommodation. We have a stunning sea view and private garden where you can just sit and enjoy this Forgotten Corner of Cornwall. All our five ensuite bedrooms have been beautifully refurbished to the highest standard, offering every comfort for all our guests whom we treat as family. We also have ample carparking on site, unusual for the area. Our Breakfast Room overlooks the garden and also has the sea view. Guests can enjoy our famous Full English Breakfast sourced with local ingredients and you will never go away hungry! We also cater for any special requests or dietary requirements. We have all the beaches, cafes and five pubs on our doorstep and within easy walking. For those attending weddings nearby we have Polhawn Fort, Mount Edgcumbe and the Cowshed within a short ten minute drive.

Kingsand and Cawsand sits in the Forgotten Corner of South East Cornwall. It is part of the Rame Peninsula Coombe House lies in the peaceful rural setting of Coombe Farm on the famous and picturesque Mount Edgcumbe Estate, yet within easy walking of the beautiful bay of Kingsand and Cawsand, with lovely beaches and the stunning South West Coastal Path. Coombe House overlooks the bay and we never tire of the amazing sea view from our home. For those who enjoy water sports there is surfing, paddle boarding and snorkelling. As well as Kingsand and Cawsand beaches we have Whitsand Bay just a five minute drive away, a long, pure white sandy beach which stretches for about a mile and the view from here can be compared to that of parts of the Mediterranean. Visiting Kingsand and Cawsand is like stepping back in time, so unspoilt and unique, it’s as if time has stood still. Cosy cottages line the narrow streets which weave their way down to the sea. There are four pubs serving excellent food, a seafront cafe and a bakery/delicatessen and everyone you meet will be pretty chilled and relaxed. A very special place which once visited will remain with you forever.
