The Cart Lodge at Porthcurno Barns - Family run cosy and spacious barn conversion nestled in a peaceful seaside hamlet walking distance to the stunning Porthcurno, Pedn Vounder beaches and the Minack Theatre. Plenty of walks on the doorstep across the SW Coastal Path. The highly rated Logan Rock Inn pub is 5 mins walk across the fields and Sennen Cove surf beach is less than 10 mins drive. Newlyn, Penzance, St Michael’s Mount, St Ives are a 15-25 mins drive for days out, activities and restaurants. The Cart Lodge is reverse level so there are views of the ocean and countryside from the living area. The barn is spacious and suits a family of 4 (plus infants) or couples/friends. There are brand new smart electric radiators and superfast WiFi throughout the property. There is parking outside the Barn for up to 2 cars. The spacious lounge has a comfy 4 seater corner sofa, 50" TV and wood burner. Both bedroom have king beds. The bathroom includes a roomy walk in shower. There is a 9kg washer-dryer, hoover and ironing board/iron etc. All our barns have fridge freezer, dishwasher, outdoor seating area, tap and clothes line/airer. There is a large selection of board games and books in each barn. Guests also have use of the large lawn in front of the barn with its football goal posts and swing set. We provide football, volleyball, badminton rackets, beach tennis rackets, a net, buckets and spades and bodyboards. We also provide the following essentials for your stay: - bed sheets, bath towels, soap and loo rolls. - tea, coffee, Nespresso capsules, sugar, local eggs and milk, cooking oil, herbs, salt and pepper, kitchen towel, dishwasher tablets and cleaning products. - washing powder, softener. - 1 large bag of logs with fire lighters - more logs can be purchased from us - highchair(s), travel cot(s) (with sheet(s) but no other bedding) for infants.

Hello- We are Harriet and Sylvain. We live in the Farmhouse at Porthcurno Barns with our 3 sons Noah, Louis and Marley. We recently moved to Cornwall in 2021 to grow our family and spend more time outdoors. We love the wilderness of West Cornwall and that it's the perfect location for surfing, swimming, cycling and coastal walks. We look forward to hosting you and will be on hand for anything you need to ensure you have a relaxing stay.
