This character cottage in the village of Battle, near Brecon, offers panoramic views of the Beacons. It is a Grade 2 listed cottage which has been restored with a lot of love and hard work. Downstairs, the cottage has a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, a lounge with a wood-burning stove, and a useful utility area which is perfect for storing bikes or muddy walking boots! Upstairs, there’s a bathroom with bath and shower, 2 bedrooms - one king size and one which can be set up as either a king size or 2 single beds. There’s parking for 2 cars and a garden with an eating area. The cottage was built to in the Arts and Crafts style, and has many of its original features. In the dining area, there is an attractive range (for decoration only now) and there are exposed floorboards in the lounge and both bedrooms. Each bedroom also has an attractive fireplace. What makes our cottage stand out above all else is the amazing view - from the front, you can see Pen y Fan and the surrounding Beacons. There is WiFi.

A car is essential for this part of the world, but there are many attractions within a short distance - Brecon town is about a five minute drive away and Hay on Wye, home of the famous literature festival, is only about half an hour away. There are many walking and cycling routes on our doorstep.
