Enjoy your stay at my flat in SE25, this newly decorated room is the ideal spot to spend a few nights during your stay. Small but cosy, very well connected to central London: just a 15 min walk to Norwood Junction Station and 12 minutes on the train to London Bridge. Travel to and from Gatwick airport is also easy. The area is peaceful with nice parks, a sense of community and gorgeous locations such as Crystal Palace nearby. The room has a comfortable double bed, chest of drawers, tea and coffee station, clothes rail and hangers, under-bed storage for bags, a hook on the door and a little bin. There is a boiler in the room which should not get too loud - I provide earplugs if you’d prefer silence. You will have your own private bathroom directly across from the room with bathtub and shower, toilet, sink and mirror. The ventilation fan can be a little loud but turns off after a couple of minutes. There is a washing machine you’re welcome to use, an ironing board on request and a hair dryer in one of the drawers. You’ll have access to your room, bathroom, hallway and garden, but not the kitchen or living room, so keep that in mind when booking please.

I’m a private chef living in London, originally trained at chef school in Pisa. I love bringing bold colours into my home, hoping to make it unique and aesthetically pleasing. I speak English, Italian and Spanish, I am obsessed with sunny weather and I love foraging whenever I can. A fun and fairly useless skill of mine is that I am really good at whistling. I try to keep to myself as much as possible to allow my guest a lot of space and quiet, but I am always available to help with any questions you might have during your London trip.

South Norwood and Crystal Palace are lovely areas to find new independent shops and a real sense of community. We are also extremely well connected to Central London, making this a hotspot for tourists. There is a stadium nearby where you can enjoy a football game if you're a fan and there's a lovely buzz around here when a game is on. Really good connection to Gatwick airport also!
