I've also lived in Bibury since I was a child, and it's still one of the most special places I know. The understated Cotswold charm, the honey-coloured stone, the River Coln winding through the village, the beautiful old church – its home. Stable Cottage was converted from an old stable block and designed to be a peaceful hideaway. I love the light that floods through the windows, the views across the fields, the quiet simplicity.
