The village of Bacton offers a children’s play area, lovely walks, woodland perfect for picnic opportunities, two pubs, restaurants, fish and chip shop, café and an ice cream parlour. The seaside resorts of Cromer, 13 miles, and Sheringham, 17 miles, provide a great day out. Be sure to bring your sea fishing rod and catch your supper. Wroxham, the Capital of the Broads, is within easy reach. The stark natural beauty of the Broads is best appreciated from the water, and with daily river trips or boats to hire, Wroxham is as good a place as any to start down the River Bure.
