Crafts Hill Barn is a converted Victorian granary set in 5 acres with a large pond and paddock. The associated brick outbuildings once housed livestock and farm machinery. We have recently sympathetically converted them into comfortable extra accommodation. With exposed roof timbers and original brick work the buildings are now incredibly cosy and comfortable, with modern country style interiors while a few quirky touches nod to their original use. A stay at Crafts Hill Barn offers tranquility and privacy in a rural setting within easy reach of stunning Cambridge and other attractions. Whether you’re planning a romantic break, visiting friends and family or travelling with work, staying with us will provide you with a special place to call home. Guests can enjoy light continental breakfasts on their private terrace or cosy dining area. Breakfast includes fresh pastries and seasonal fruit, and hearty cooked options are also available.

We have lived in the Cambridge area for 20 years and at Crafts Hill Barn for the last 5. We have a busy family life and there's always plenty to do at home with animals to care for and land to maintain, but I also enjoy long walks, visiting gardens and Cambridge shopping! I love being in the countryside and having so much space and peace. After extending and renovating the main house we turned our attention to the outbuildings, I really enjoy creating beautiful interiors especially country spaces with history. A great deal of thought, love and creativity was poured into the transformation of our superior studio 'The Cowshed' in 2016 and this year we turned our attention to 'The Pigsty'.

Only an hour out of London and within easy reach of the Midlands, Cambridge is a magical place to visit. In the city the architecture and history surround you, while independent shops jostle with all the best high street and designer names. We are situated 5 miles from the city in a very quiet village but with easy access to main roads and facilities. Within half an hours drive there are many country houses, market towns and footpaths to explore, as well as a wealth of delicious places to eat.
