Dairy Cottage is set in the 6 acre grounds of College Farm, Old Buckenham, South Norfolk. The main farmhouse dates back to around 1540 with an original timber frame inside a Victorian red brick exterior. College Farm was a working farm until fairly recently with pigs, dairy cows & working dairy. Dairy Cottage, once storage for the milk churns, is now a delightful cottage offering quality accommodation for two. The cottage has recently had a full kitchen added so is now fully self contained. Dairy Cottage offers ground floor accommodation and has its own key entry and pretty courtyard garden. We provide a breakfast hamper for our guests, along with a few other treats, including a welcome drink. All guests have access to our Guest Garden set within the grounds of College Farm. Free WiFi is available. Parking is free for our guests. We have plenty of space for cars with trailers for our Snetterton Guests. The cottage is walking distance to the local pub & village shop. Quality restaurants & coffee shops are close by. A great location for holiday visitors with many attractions close-by, several National Trust properties, Thetford Forest, Bressingham Gardens, Banham Zoo, Norfolk Broads & Coast. With Norwich only 25 minutes away it is an ideal location for Business Guests. On request we are happy to take one small well behaved dog. Snetterton Racing Circuit is less than 10 minutes away and ideal for Snetterton racers or visitors.

Since running our Luxury Bed and Breakfast we have been really delighted with the lovely reviews that we have had from our customers. Our beautiful free range hens provide the eggs breakfast, with the allotment providing tomatoes and a range of vegetables. Attleborough & A11 are 7 minutes from College Farm, located in the beautiful village of Old Buckenham, with lovely village green with ponds and two great pubs. Within easy reach of Norwich only 20 miles, Cambridge 49 miles and the beautiful market town of Diss only 8 miles, it is an ideal central location to explore the delights of both Norfolk & Suffolk. St Georges Whisky Distillery, Banham Zoo, Bressingham Gardens & Railway, Old Buckenham Airfield, and Snetterton Motor Racing Circuit and the lovely National Trust venues of both Ickworth House & Oxburgh Hall are close-by. The regular auctions at Diss on a Friday are one of the best in the country. Thetford Forest and Heath offer great walking with the 93 mile Peddars Way Roman Road starting in the Brecks and running to the North Norfolk coast, ideal for walking or cycling with plenty of cycle routes from the farm. The delights of the North Norfolk coast only 40 miles away, fantastic beaches at Holkham, Wells-next-the-sea and Blakeney, Norfolk is littered with National Trust properties and gardens. The unspoilt Suffolk coastline and charming towns of Southwold, Walberswick & Beccles and the southern broads. The Norfolk Broads are an amazing attraction & accessible from many points including Wroxham, Ranworth, Horning & Beccles. The cottage is in a great location for exploring and enjoying it all. It is walking distance from Dairy Cottage into the village Old Buckenham, where there are two pubs on the wonderful village green, both close to duck ponds. The Gamekeeper is an excellent traditional 18th Century English pub, run by the local Woodforde's Brewery, with excellent local ale and great food, it is also dog friendly and has a lovely garden area. The Ox & Plough has a lovely setting with seating right on the village green, it is next to the Book Shop & Coffee Shop another recent addition to the village along with Harrow & Fearn a wine and beer refill shop, there is also a well stocked village store.
