Danegelts is a Grade-2 Listed home in the peaceful Norfolk village of Geldeston, with its own private meadows leading down to the River Waveney.
We love the quiet, peaceful life here in Geldeston, surrounded by nature and wildlife. What a treat to wake up each morning looking over the meadows and the avenue of oak trees leading down to the river! We love to help our guests share and enjoy this special part of England.
Charming, peaceful Geldeston is nestled on the banks of the Waveney River, half way between the two characterful, historic market towns of Beccles and Bungay. We're lucky to have two very special pubs in the village, The Wherry and The Locks, both of which serve good food. The Locks hosts regular live music and other events. The coast is just 10 miles away, with beautiful beaches at Covehithe, and the delightful seaside town of Southwold just a little further south.
