The open beamed kitchen, family bathroom with a full suite and separate shower, and a double bedroom, are on the ground floor, along with a separate utility room that leads to the private garden and patio. Upstairs, the beautifully preserved beamed ceiling is made from ships' timbers, as was the custom in those days. There is a large, comfortable lounge that benefits from fabulous sunset views across the meadows to Fowey, and on to the distant horizon. The upstairs double and single bedrooms, also with open beamed ceilings, have views over the mature gardens. The holiday home shares an open driveway with the main house that is visible from the road. Parking is provided for two medium sized cars. Within walking distance (for most, or a very short car drive) are several stunning coastal coves and beaches, including the spectacular Lantic Bay, and the South-West Coast Path. The nearest village is Polruan, a three minute drive away, with its seaside harbour charm and spectacular views of Fowey, the harbour, coast and sea. A short passenger ferry ride across the harbour leads to Fowey. Between them, Polruan and Fowey sport a wealth of pubs, restaurants, shops and wide variety of recreational activities. In the summer months, there is a ferry from Fowey to Mevagissey. This is an excellent location for exploring Cornwall.
