Dolly's Hideaway is a secluded luxury wood-built cabin set in six acres of beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds countryside, right on the Viking Way. You have your very own space, with the cabin in its own exclusive area - with only horses, alpacas and the odd buzzard flying overhead . Inside the cabin there is a large open plan fully-equipped kitchen/diner and living area, complete with flat-screen TV and WiFi ,luxury leather corner sofa and plenty of games and books. The dining area has seating for four with a large, extendable table. The main bedroom has a king-size link bed, which can be two singles, with a double in the second bedroom. The luxury bathroom has a large drench shower and the cabin is fully centrally heated, so is snug and warm all year round. A welcome pack will be waiting! Outside there are two lovely decked areas, which are in full daytime sun, a barbecue and a pretty gazebo which overlooks the alpaca paddock. The outside is in a completely secluded area, which can be seen by no-one, and is just 100-metres from the stables and all-year grazing, which is available for livery during your stay - so your horses can have a lovely holiday too!

The family house is close-by, but cannot be seen by guests. Being onsite, the family is available to assist with liveries, if people choose to bring their horses, and guided hacks in the beautiful Wolds' countryside can be arranged - along with pre-packed picnics. Our horse lorry can, if available, take two rides to the beach or local cross country course, for the fuel fee. The family will also arrange for guided alpaca treks, again with picnics available. These extras are available on request. Please note the alpacas will be with us from Easter Saturday, March 31st. We will also provide drop-off and pick-ups to the beautiful city of Lincoln, pre-booked and as an added extra. All in all, we want to ensure your break in the Lincolnshire Wolds is relaxing and enjoyable and we will do all we can to ensure that is the case.

The Lincolnshire Wolds, in which Goulceby sits, is in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village is nestled at the foot of a natural nature reserve, on the edge of the Viking Way, offering some of the best walking, cycling and riding in the area. For equestrian-lovers bringing their horses, we are just a short journey from a lovely beach, with a full cross country course available for hire just ten minutes away. The village pub, offering great food, is a two-minute walk from the cabin, although you may wish to check out the nearby historic market towns of Louth and Horncastle, the latter being the 'antiques capital' of the Wolds. We are just 40-minutes from Lincoln with its wonderful cathedral and castle - along with great shopping and restaurants (the Christmas market is among the best in the UK). The beach is half-an-hour away and a popular destination - particular in late autumn when thousands of seals use the shores to give birth to their pups, a fantastic natural occurrence. The world-famous racing circuit Cadwell Park is a five-minute drive away, Market Rasen race course half-an-hour and RAF Coningsby - the home of the Battle of Britain - 20 minutes away.
