Having launched Lower Mill Estate in The Cotswolds in 1999, the company went on to launch Silverlake, Dorset in 2011 and has a number of other exciting projects in the pipeline, including Birchwood Estate in North Devon. The Estates combine ecology, architecture and community to help your family to thrive and enjoy a holiday surrounded by nature. The Paxton family continues to run Habitat First Group to this day and the family touch can be felt in everything that we do.

Access to the Hurricane Terrace bar, heated outdoor pool and activity equipment is included with this property, offering plenty to do while staying at Silverlake, Dorset. Inclusive equipment hire includes bikes and water equipment such as paddleboards and kayaks, subject to availability. Also on site is a well-equipped gym, a luxury spa offering a variety of holistic and beauty treatments and a takeaway pizza shack offering pizza, open during peak season. The living area provides plenty of seating and space to enjoy each other's company. There is a delightful open-plan kitchen, with all the mod cons, including a breakfast bar where you can enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or orange juice in the morning. A large dining table will see families enjoying quality time together. There is a double bedroom and en-suite on the ground floor. Upstairs, there is a beautifully light twin room over looking the lake, a bunk bed room which also enjoys lake views, family bathroom, and master en-suite with king size bed and large en-suite. The property benefits include free Wi-Fi, a BBQ and log fire for those cosy nights in and access to the on-site Hurricane Spa and Pool (treatments are not included).
