Spacious, Comfortable Stay Just 20 Minutes from Edinburgh City Centre Welcome to our bright and spacious home in the peaceful village of Currie, perfectly located just a 20 minute drive from the centre of Edinburgh. Whether you're visiting for work, leisure, or exploring the local area, we offer a relaxed and comfortable base with excellent transport links and local amenities. We have a generous twin bedroom with plenty of natural light and a comfortable bright single bedroom. Both rooms come with the use of a modern private bathroom for guests use only. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a day in the city or out exploring. Each morning, guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast featuring a selection of cereals, porridge, fresh bread or toast, croissants, ham and cheese, eggs, yoghurts, fresh fruit, juice, tea and coffee. We’re happy to accommodate dietary requirements – just let us know in advance. The rooms and whole property are Non Smoking Please ask us if you need a shuttle to or from the airport - we are happy to provide that service for a reasonable price

Your hosts, Steve and Heather, are experienced travellers who enjoy meeting people from all over the world and are always happy to offer recommendations or help with local knowledge. There are also two friendly dogs in the home, Bear and Ruby, who are part of the household but won’t intrude on your space.

Currie is a quiet and well-connected village with everything you need close by. There are local pubs serving good food, a lovely café, and takeaways including Indian, Domino’s and traditional fish and chips. A Scotmid supermarket is just around the corner for any essentials. The location is ideal for exploring the area – we’re just a 5-minute walk from the train station, with regular services into Edinburgh, and there are also several bus routes nearby. The airport is a 15-minute drive, and the tram is also close by. We’re also conveniently close to the Highland Showground at Ingliston, the Lost Shore Surf Resort, Ratho International Climbing Centre, and Heriot-Watt University. If you’re looking to get out into nature, the Pentland Hills and surrounding countryside are all within easy reach.
