Elibank House Apartment is a self contained private 2 bedroom property. It has a living room with dining table and wood burning stove. There is a kitchen which has all the items you would need for self catering leading to a utility room with a washing machine. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, both ensuite. One of the bedrooms has a kingsize bed, the ensuite has a bathtub with shower over it. The other bedroom has a double bed with an ensuite shower room. All bedlinen and towels are provided. There are televisions in the living room and both bedrooms. Wifi is available throughout. Guests are welcome to use the grounds and gardens at Elibank. There are some beautiful walks and cycle rides around us. The River Tweed runs alongside the house and fishing can be arranged - please ask for details. Well behaved dogs are allowed - maximum of two. At certain times of the year a paddock may be available for horses - there are some great routes for riding on the doorstep, on well maintained forestry roads.

Elibank House Apartment is on a quiet rural road. However, a short car journey takes you to local restaurants and takeaways. We are within easy reach of lots of the areas attractions - Glentress, Traquair House, Melrose Abbey, Abbotsford. Galashiels train station is 20 mins away for catching the train to Edinburgh. We are well placed for forestry walks - Elibank and Traquair Forest are on the doorstep. There are miles of forestry roads leading to the Southern Upland Way. Or shorter strolls along the river. The short walk to the ruins of Elibank Castle provide a wonderful viewing point for the valley below. We are well placed for guests wanting to relax after a busy day sightseeing.
