Bed and breakfast is in a private annex with a bedroom/sitting room, kitchenette and ensuite shower room. Situated in one of the prettiest villages in the centre of the National Park. Ideal base for visiting all the special places in Exmoor and for those who enjoy walking the two moors way hiking route. The annex which is all on ground level is fully equipped for every day needs. In the room is a comfy king size bed, Sofa, Dining table and chairs, hanging space, WiFi and Sky tv. Included in the price is a breakfast consisting of cereals, toast, yogurt, fruit orange juice and tea and coffee. Outside there is a seating area for those sunny days. One small dog is welcome with dog bed, bowls and towels. There is a village shop, pub and tea room in the village. Walking is straight out of the door along the river Barle or over the moor where you can see Exmoor ponies and other wild animals and birds. There are lots of information books and leaflets of the area and the host can point you in the right direction of the beauty spots and places of interest

Having run a pub for many years I have first hand experience of people’s needs and how an establishment should be presented as in facilities and cleanliness. Very much hands on and always on site to help or advise. I provide lots of information on places to visit or to dine and can supply details of either walking or driving tours to see the best of Exmoor. Breakfast is at a time to suit you and most dietary needs are catered for. I supply milk, fruit, cereals, yogurt, coffee, tea, toast and biscuits to use at your convenience during your stay. One small dog is welcome. Large dogs or more than one will not be accepted.

Withypool is in the Golden Triangle of Exmoor and situated in the centre of the Moor on the river Barle. There are walks on the moor or along the river to famous places such as Tarr Steps or Landacre Bridge straight out of the door and Exmoor offers miles of walking routes with spectacular scenery and pretty villages to visit. Withypool has a pub, tea room and village shop with Post Office all just a few minutes walk from Mole End. There is wildlife in abundance with the Exmoor Ponies, red deer, birds of prey, etc. There are safaris to take on a tour to see the wild life. The spectacular north coast is only a few miles away with the highest cliffs in England and wonderful places to visit such as Porlock and Lynton The spectacular north coast boasting the highest cliffs in England are only a short car journey with places such as Minehead, Porlock and Lynton. Dunster castle is a favourite with the medieval village and fantastic coastline. Beaches such a Ilfracombe, Instow, Bude are in easy reach for aday out.T
