East Finchley is the happiest neighbourhood in London, as stated in a Time Out survey in 2015. A leafy North London neighbourhood with a buzzing and diverse high street with many independent shops, lots of lovely coffee shops and restaurants, a great second hand book shop and a range of good quality food shops as well as a Budgens Supermarket. Also on our high street you will find the Phoenix cinema, it is an independent cinema and is the oldest independent cinema in the UK, showcasing many individual films. East Finchley has several parks and recreation grounds, all within walking distance from the apartment. East Finchley tube station which is on the Northern Line is just 4 minutes walk away from your front door so you can be in central London within 20 minutes. Muswell Hill, another lovely North London neighbourhood is just a short walk / bus ride away. Highgate where you will find the famous Highgate Cemetery with several famous graves (Karl Marks) and Crouch End are also close by. Another short bus journey will take you to Hampstead Heath where you will find Kenwood House, a large stately home featuring a fine art collection and beautiful gardens.
