Fairview Farm Log Cabins & Holiday Accommodation was created after the success and demand of the first self-catering log cabin on-site ‘The Sherwood’. There are now a variety of 12 self-catering properties available to rent in this beautiful setting. Surrounded by countryside, there are plenty of local walks and cycling routes including a private lane around the farm where you can spot the horses and sheep grazing in the fields. We are a very safe farm with lots of outdoor space, and with self check-in you don’t have to interact with anybody if you wish to be socially distant. Due to the pandemic, Fairview has been working hard to create a safe, clean and relaxing environment where you can be sure all new guidelines are being met. Local attractions include Robin Hoods Wheelgate Park, White Post Farm, Wollaton Hall, Nottingham Castle, the City of Caves, Newstead Abbey, Rufford Country Park, Clumber Park and Sherwood Forest home to the famous Major Oak. Recently rebuilt into a huge 3 bedroomed lodge, set on a farm in rural Nottinghamshire in 88 acres of stunning countryside. With the capacity for 10 guests it makes a fantastic space for socialising with friends or family gatherings. It has a spacious living aeea and bi-fold doors that open up the front of the property, so you can enjoy the private outdoor courtyard complete with BBQ area and firepit. The lodge has two double bedrooms and the third bedroom has four full sized single beds. There is also an additional double sofa bed in the living area suitable for children. One bathroom features a luxurious, freestanding bath and the second is a large wet room with shower. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining table along with a breakfast bar for additional seating. There is free, private parking right outside the lodge for easy access and self check in allows you to go straight into the property without any hassle. Lionheart Lodge is surrounded by fantastic views to enjoy and plenty of countryside for relaxing walks.

On-site there is a free Games room with a pool table, air hockey, TV and more. There is also an outdoor children's play area and you can meet our resident ponies, sheep & very cheeky pygmy goats! There are plenty of fields to enjoy activities such flying a kite or a game of rounders etc. or simply you could enjoy a picnic in the countryside. We also have a star gazing area for you to cosy under under the stars in the evening. Within a mile of Fairview Farm there are several great restaurants and pubs plus local amenities such as Tesco & Sainsbury's Local.
