The studio is in a modern well-equipped oak framed building in the heart of Finlaystone Country estate which overlooks the River Clyde. The properties are well equipped and finished to a high standard so all you need is your food. There are extensive woodlands with play areas, 10 acres of formal gardens and a tea room. Glasgow is just 20 mins away by car, the airport just 15 mins and there is easy road and rail access to the west coast and Loch Lomond. If the Barn is booked for your preferred dates please check our Finlaystone Family Barn which is slightly larger but in a similar style and is listed separately. We have 2 22kwhr EV chargers by the barns to cater for your EV.
My wife and I look after the Estate which has been in the family for about 150 years. We love dogs and children who always appreciate the space on the estate to walk and play and we welcome visitors to the estate all year round. While we are very much in a rural setting there is a great community here with several permanent residents so one is not totally alone.
Finlaystone Estate itself is a lovely place to be based as you can see from the website. Dogs and children love it. It is a beautiful rural location within easy reach of local towns such as Greenock and Paisley. Glasgow is 20 mins away, Edinburgh, Ayr and Perth are just over an hour away so you can get to several championship golf courses easily.
