Sea views. Private parking. Free wifi. Private garden and picnic area. Drying shed for surfing equipment with a separate shed for bike storage. The patio door entrance is wheelchair friendly. This gives access to the dining room, hall, living room and both bedrooms/shower rooms. Both bedrooms are en-suite with showers, the twin room en-suite also has a bath. There is an additional toilet off the hall. Living room with smart TV. Fully fitted kitchen with double oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer and coffee machine. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and monks bench for coats and jackets. Short Term Let Licence Number ES00006F.
Hello, my name is Catherine. The cottage was built by my grandfather for his family in the 1940s. He had been a fisherman who owned his own boat, SY 424. My husband Ian and I have renovated the cottage to a high standard and hope you relax and enjoy your stay. We have a No Pet Policy in the cottage. I enjoy sewing and made all the curtains and cushions myself, mostly from Harris Tweed. I am available at any time for advice or assistance.
The Fisherman’s Cottage is located in the fishing village of Brevig, Vatisker. An excellent beach for surfers is only 0.8 miles away. A Pharmacy, Post Office, Fuel Station, Hairdressers, Coffee Shop and Church are all within 1 mile from the property. Coll Beach and Gress Beach are within 2 miles as well as the Traigh Mhor (Tolsta) 8 miles away and Garry Beach 8.6 miles away. The main town of Stornoway is 7 miles away, Stornoway Airport is 10.5 miles and Tarbert Ferry terminal is 42 miles away.
