The historic village of Ardersier lies 11-miles east of Inverness in the great Scottish Highlands. The village holds a rich history of fishing and farming connections, through supporting the building of Fort George, to having oil rigs built at what is now known as the Port of Ardersier. Today, visitors can enjoy two pubs including The Star Inn, convenience stores, a parish church, and a café, while there is also the iconic Highlander’s Museum resting within the stunning grounds of Fort George, offering an insight into the Georgian history of the village.
