Fuaim na Mara, translated ‘Sound of the Sea’ represents the close proximity to the sea and sandy beaches of the west cost. Liniclate Beach is within walking distance of the Pod and Cula bay around 3 miles away.
We are a young family staying in the Isle of Benbecula.
We are more than happy to help with any queries in person or by phone/text. We are located just next door to the Pod.
We are located in a quiet neighbourhood in Liniclate, Isle of Benbecula. There is a lovely beach within walking distance and there is a hotel en route for any meals or refreshments. The Local supermarket is within 2 miles and there are plenty other local shops and businesses nearby in the village of Balivanich.
We are located in the heart of the Uists, just 6 miles from Benbecula airport, 22 miles from Lochmaddy Ferry Terminal and 22 miles from Lochboisdale Ferry Terminal.
Ideal for hikers or cyclists, the Pod is on the path of the Hebridean way walking route and cycle network route.
There is transport available by taxi or bus, the nearest bus stop at Liniclate School, just a 5 minute walk away, providing transport links all around the island.
