Tessa and Geoff run Furzeleigh Mill as a family business! They have a fabulously friendly and helpful team to assist in the running of the hotel, restaurant and bar. With the help of three great chefs, Furzeleigh Mill is garnering a well earned reputation as the best place to eat locally offering innovative menus and great service, we were also recently nominated second best Restaurant in Devon. All the staff at Furzeleigh Mill are considered part of the Furzeleigh Family and this deep care for one another and dedication to the business sets us apart from corporate hotel chains and larger businesses.

Furzeleigh Mill was built c1547, Tessa and Geoff Sellick bought the hotel in November 2018 and have been busy upgrading the building ever since. Geoff, an architect and designer, has breathed a new feeling into the hotel with an eclectic mix of styles complimenting the fabric of the building whilst still achieving a contemporary twist. Tessas' eye for detail and customer focused hospitality has been put to use upgrading service offerings ensuring the meeting of our guests requirements. There is an excellent on site restaurant and a very well stocked bar. Dogs are welcome in the bar and terrace. Furzeleigh Mill has ten bedrooms, no two the same. Each have country views. Situated between Exeter and Plymouth adjacent to the A38 the hotel provides a great base to explore South Devon or just to stay and enjoy the ambiance, good food and drink. The accommodation offers a Full English Breakfast & Contidental Buffet which is included in the room price The Inn offers an award winning restaurant open 7 days a week.
