The comfortable lounge has an armchair chair and footstool strategically placed in the large bay window overlooking the village green and the picturesque fells beyond; the perfect place to watch the sunset whilst enjoying your favourite tipple. The deep-cushioned sofa sits in front of the large SMART TV and the apartment benefits from unlimited WiFi. The carpeted bedroom has a king-size bed dressed in quality linens to ensure a good night’s sleep, with modern, wooden blinds completing the romantic look. The stylish walk-in shower room has a basin with illuminated mirror above, toilet and heated towel rail. Outside, there is a private car park, with a designated parking space for Gingerbreak Nook right outside your front door. There is also shared access to a handy utility room on the ground floor with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

The village is well served by a great selection of pubs and cafes, The Jumble Room and Tweedies Bar being firm favourites with locals and holidaymakers alike. Have a mooch around a number of interesting galleries and pick up a memento of your trip, perhaps a scenic watercolour from The Heaton Cooper Studio or a vibrant mug from Herdy, featuring the Lakeland Herdwick sheep.
