If you're looking for sunshine, Elmer should be ideal, being the second sunniest part of the UK, with an average of 7.7 hours sunshine per day (just behind Eastbourne, at 8 hours per day). Whether as a romantic getaway...or special occasion...maybe a chance to relax and unwind...a business trip...visiting friends and family...or simply a change of scenery to working from home, Elmer is absolutely perfect! Whilst Elmer, along with the neighbouring villages of Middleton-on-Sea, Clymping and Felpham feel wonderfully quiet and remote. In reality, you are in fact only around a ten minute drive from the four diverse and substantially sized towns of Arundel, Chichester, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton. Chichester is in fact the county's capital and Arundel is beautifully quaint town brimming with history, including a cathedral, river and quite possibly one of the country's best-kept castles, definitely worth a visit. In addition, Elmer is less than an hour's drive of Brighton & Hove, Shoreham-by-Sea, Horsham, Portsmouth and Southampton. Also, Goodwood Racecourse is around a 20 minute drive. The apartment is on the ground floor and has recently been fully refurbished and has a spacious, modern, stylish yet beachy feel, whilst still feeling homely. I have called the property Goldeneye, named after Ian Fleming's beach side house in Jamaica, the author of the James Bond books. In my opinion, one of the most important things when I travel is a good night's sleep, which is why I've recently had a brand new luxury mattress (memory foam and springs) fitted in the bedroom. To say it's comfortable, would be an understatement! 😊
