Wells, Cheddar and the Mendip hills are also only 5 miles away. The Snug is situated at the end of a quiet country lane in a private location surrounded by countryside in the pretty village of Stanton Drew. Set in the grounds of our house, the Snug is a private single floor annex with its own off road private car parking space outside the front door. The Snug has its own private garden & outdoor seating area. The bedroom contains a lovely, comfortable king size bed. EATING OUT? Our friendly local pub the Druids Arms is a 5 minute walk and serves excellent food. We are also surrounded by a plethora of wonderful places to eat, from fine dining for a special occasion to great locally sourced pub food, lengthy Sunday lunches and afternoon teas.

The Location Stanton Drew is a traditional village located in the Chew Valley area of Somerset. We are ideally situated 8 miles from Bath and Bristol. We have our own stone circles and a beautiful round house within the village. Lots of local pubs and restaurants serve wonderful food dependent on your taste and preferences. Out and About Bath is a beautiful Roman city with many tourist attractions to enjoy such as the Roman baths, the Royal Crescent, and of other tourist attractions. Maybe a visit to the lovely city of Wells where the stunning Bishops Palace and its gardens are always worth a visit. Wells enjoys a fabulous market in the market square twice per week. If you enjoy walking, we have the fantastic Mendip hills locally, which offer some of the best walking experiences in Somerset (bring your walking boots!). Cheddar gorge is nestled amongst the Mendip hills and is always an enjoyable visit. If you fancy a more relaxed stay with us, we have local health spas available to enjoy. National Trust Tyntesfield House and Estate is only a 20 minute drive from The Snug. One of the jewels in the crown of the National Trust and very popular with visitors looking for a trip back in time. A great visit.
