Just a stone throw away from Ambleside town centre Haven Cottage provides wonderful B&B accommodation right in the heart of the Lake District. Being a smaller B&B it has more of a home from home feel to it. With 4 bedrooms to choose ranging from smaller cosy double bedrooms to large, luxurious super king-size suites we have something for everybody's budget & tastes. Tastefully decorated in a contemporary style all bedrooms are en-suite and B&B accommodation with us includes free car-parking (which has an electric car recharging point), a fantastic home-cooked breakfast and tea/coffee, homemade bread & homemade cakes in the afternoons. Our Wi-fi is high-speed fibre so shouldn't let you down (although this is the Lakes!). We also have an on-site registered nutritionist who is available for consultations on health and wellness during your stay.

With an onsite nutritionist our breakfasts have a quality reputation for good reason, we use excellent quality local ingredients and take into consideration taste and health benefits for the body where we can, examples are our 'Laid with Love' eggs from The Lake District Free Range Egg Co., nitrate free sausage from the Butchers 400 metres away and organic and Himalayan salt cured back bacon from an organic farm in Cumbria. Lighter options, Vegetarian/Vegan alternatives also feature on the breakfast menu. Our coffee is sourced from award winning Red Bank Coffee, roasted in Coniston and a great example of how we support the best local producers in the Lake District.
