Beautifully contemporary and sumptuously spacious, Hawthorne settles in the picturesque Roadford Lake Lodges resort; one of Devon’s loveliest beauty spots. Well-known for its abundance of lakeside activities, Roadford Lake is an outdoor adventurer’s dream destination, with cycle paths, walking routes and water-based activities galore, so if you’d like to get active during your stay, you can do so to your heart’s content. Just 100m from the lake’s edge, the setting is a dreamy one, and is perfect as a ‘back to nature’ weekend escape or for extended holidays with family and friends. Inside you’ll discover a space that’s as comfortable as it is good-looking. There’s an open plan living / entertainment area with large dining table and fully-fitted kitchen, as well as big, comfy sofas and a flat screen TV. Two fabulous bedrooms (both of which have sliding doors to the terrace), invite deeply comfortable nights of rest, while the two modern en-suite bathrooms mean plenty of space for four guests.The whole living area opens out on to the private terrace where an outdoor dining suite and a bubbling hot tub invite fresh-air feasts, BBQ’s and relaxing soaks in the sunshine, and when the sun sets you can cosy up in front of the 65 inch Skyglass TV for a night of popcorn and movies. With Roadford Lake being just a short stroll away there is plenty to do right on your doorstep with water sports, a lakeside walk or a cream tea in the cafe all within easy reach. And for those guests travelling with their four-legged companions in tow, there are many walks to enjoy together with excellent viewing points dotted around the waters’ edge where you'll be able to relax and soak up the peaceful atmosphere. Roadford Lake is a new development of luxury lodges and new lodges will be added to the site over time. Whilst we don’t anticipate any widespread impact on your stay, there may be occasions where new lodges are being installed where some noise may be heard during day time hours.
