A unique mid-terraced country cottage set in beautiful farmland. This bright, spacious and well-equipped cottage is dog-friendly and includes space for bikes. Enjoy the large, fully fenced garden - a peaceful, private spot perfect for relaxing in tranquil surroundings. The cosy living room features a wood-burning stove, enhancing the warm cottage atmosphere. Christmas decorations go up the first week of December but can be arranged earlier on request. Every booking includes complimentary biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. In the summer months, guests can enjoy a barbecue with an easy-light charcoal pack provided. In winter, a ready-to-light fire and a large basket of logs ensure a cosy stay. A travel cot is available on request.
The cottage is ideally located to explore the Scottish Borders - whether by bike, on foot, or by car. Nearby attractions within a 15-mile radius include Floors Castle, Abbotsford House, Melrose Abbey, Jedburgh Abbey and Jail, the Eildons, Ruberslaw, St. Mary’s Loch, and Tweedbank train station. A short 10-minute walk takes you to the picturesque villages of Minto and Denholm, which offer pubs, a restaurant, a café, and a village shop.
