THE HIDEAWAY A beautiful suite nestled in a quiet area of Ambleside The Hideaway suite is situated along side Hideaway cottage and nestled in a quiet area of Ambleside affectionately known as Waterhead. It is located on Maciver Lane, only a short stroll from the shores of Lake Windermere where you will find pleasure boats, bars and cafes etc. The bustling centre of Ambleside has an abundance of fine dining bars and boutique shops and is only a 10 minute stroll away. Within 5 minutes of Hideaway you will find Hayes Garden Centre and also the Roman ruins of Fort Galava. For the more energetic there is access to both gentle and more challenging local walks, including; Rydal, Wansfell and Loughrigg (from where the breath taking view of Waterhead, you can see on this website, was taken).
Everything you need for the perfect getaway The Hideaway Suite consists of a lounge area, kitchenette, patio with table and chairs and an en-suite bedroom which has a king size bed. There is also private parking opposite the front door. Put your feet up and enjoy an espresso from our coffee machine or unwind with a glass of wine outside on the patio.
