We are happy to communicate with all guests as much as necessary, but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your stay. When the booking is confirmed you will receive instructions via email with all the necessary information to check in at your leisure. Check in is from 4pm, unless one of our early check in options has been purchased. Check out is strictly 10am, unless one of our late check out options has been purchased. Check in is via a secure key box for which you will be provided the key box code 7 days prior to arrival. Set on the first floor of a traditional Category C-listed building on Elie High Street (formerly the Queen’s Hotel), this bright, spacious apartment puts you right at the heart of village life. With local shops on your doorstep, the Toll Green and sea views from the front, and the long sandy beach and famous Ship Inn just a few minutes’ walk away, it’s a fantastic base for laid-back coastal breaks in the East Neuk. Security entry and Wi-Fi add to the easy, fuss-free feel. Inside, a welcoming reception hall leads through to a generous lounge/dining room, where a bay window frames an open outlook across Elie Toll Green towards the sea. Comfortable sofas, a footstool, coffee and side tables, floor lamps and a Smart TV make this a relaxed space to unwind after a day on the sand or exploring the coastal path, while the dining table seats six for simple suppers and slow breakfasts. To the rear of the apartment you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms, both quietly positioned away from the High Street. The relaxing master bedroom has a king-size bed, bedside cabinets and lamps, wardrobe and drawer storage, along with an en suite shower room with WC, wall-mounted basin, heated towel rail and shower enclosure. The spacious twin bedroom offers two single beds, plenty of storage, bedside lamps, a TV and another rear-facing window. A second family shower room with vanity basin, WC, corner enclosure and chrome heated towel rail completes the layout, making the apartment a great option for families, friends or golfers looking to share. From here, you’re perfectly placed to enjoy Elie’s cafés, deli, beach, harbour and nearby links golf, with the wider East Neuk and St Andrews all within easy reach for day trips and coastal advent

Elie and Earlsferry are two of the most picturesque towns in the East Neuk with a beautiful long sandy beach and a pretty little harbour. The golf links are the feature that joins the beautiful villages of Earlsferry and Elie and the local population are justifiably proud of their ancient course. The course has evolved over the centuries from a simple links golfing tract in the 1500s to the fine 18 hole course it is today. Elie town centre has lots of little shops ranging from the Elie Deli, Carol's Ice Cream Shop and the pharmacy, all the way to The Ship by the Harbour with its beach cricket and good food. Everything in Elie and Earlsferry is within walking distance, be it the Elie Ness Lighthouse, the beaches, the Links golf course and many more facilities. The bus routes are all frequent and easy to use. Taxis are available to the surrounding towns and St Andrews. 15 mins walk to Elie town centre, 5 mins walk to Elie Golf Course and less than 1 mins walk to the long, sandy Elie & Earlsferry Beach. Supermarket available in Anstruther, but lots of small local shops in Elie will provide most of what you will need.
