Set within Cairngorm National Park, the Highlander Hotel is set in the village of Newtonmore. The Highlander has an on-site restaurant, bar and lounge serving breakfasts, dinners and bar meals with traditional cuisine. All rooms are en-suite with walk-in showers, TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee making and free toiletries. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. It also has ground floor rooms, a garden and free on-site parking. The hotel is dog friendly. The hotel is close to many popular attractions including Highland Folk Museum, Highland Wildlife Park, Dalwhinnie Distillery and Cairngorm Mountain. As the hotel is only 6 miles from the geographic centre of Scotland it offers a base to tour much of Northern Scotland and a great stop before heading to the start of the North Coast 500.
