Both Hilltop Barn and Hilltop Cottage are secluded on-farm properties with stunning views across the Witham Valley and towards Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire and beyond. Private space, lovely green lane walks yet easy access to the City of Lincoln and the rest of rural Lincolnshire. This is not a complex so you have complete privacy. Hilltop Barn is ideal for families and welcomes pets. Hilltop Cottage is a cosy corner for two where you can get lost in your own private area. The forecourt of Hilltop Barn is fenced and gated to secure this spacious area for young children and for dogs. See the photo for this. Both the cottage and barn have king sized double beds with new mattresses in 2022. Both are very spacious. The cottage, although it has only one double room surprises visitors by the size of the lounge which makes it feel like a larger property. Both properties are set in an area of developing woodland yet enjoy full sun throughout the year.

Charles and my wife Marianne have spent 35 years enhancing this beautiful corner of Lincolnshire for wildlife conservation and received the Lincolnshire Environmental Award for their long term commitment. We have spent many years exploring different parts of the world and in particular, for 15 years, committed ourselves to a joint project with the Malawi Department of National Parks and Wildlife to monitor poaching activity and record the biodiversity in the remote Nyika National Park.
