A lovely upside-down self-contained annexe in the heart of rural Mid Wales, benefitting from the most amazing views. Our quirky annexe has the entrance, bedrooms and the toilet/shower room downstairs and the living room kitchen upstairs. We have fast Starlink Internet with QR codes or passwords for your use. The annex is fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay. SkyQ including Netflix Disney Amazon Prime are in the living room and master bedroom as well as PS3 + games and a large selection of DVDs. A combo TV/DVD and selection of children's DVDs are available in the second bedroom. We are 15 mins from Knighton which has a large Co-op and several restaurants. We are 20mins from the award-winning spa town of Llandrindod Wells which has a large Tesco and an Aldi. We are a 2-minute walk from Llanbister Road train station on the scenic Heart of Wales line. Our country road is on the 825 cycle route. Elan Valley is a fantastic nearby place to visit.There are lots of local attractions and things to do locally.

Hi! We are Nick and Gail who took early retirement and moved to Mid Wales in 2020. We look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful part of the country. We hope you enjoy our welcome gift. We will be available each day from 9am to 10.30 am and 4.30pm to 6pm. Please knock at the main door and we will be happy to help in any way we can. However, if you know we are around at other times during the day, please don't hesitate to come and see us. We will however respect your privacy during your visit. We have a very friendly Chocolate labrador called Bailey who you are more than welcome to say hello to; it would make his day.

Llanbister Road is the most beautiful, peaceful place to live. The main sounds are birds, sheep and owls at night at certain times of the year. The main traffic along the country lanes is tractors or a herd of sheep passing by. Although there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance, there is a local pub, The Greyhound Inn, in Llangunllo, two-and-a-half miles away. Knighton and Llandrindod Wells have Large supermarkets and places to eat, these can be accessed by car or cycle and on the Heart of Wales train line from Llanbister Road train station. There are beautiful local walks and nearby towns for shopping or visiting attractions which can be accessed by car, cycle or train. The Heart of Wales trains are single or double carriage, 4 trains per day each way. Please note Llanbister Road train station is a request stop.
