It is a perfect base for exploring all the hidden gems that the Speyside area has to offer. Discover the whisky trail, go fishing, golf, kayaking, mountain biking or try one of the many beautiful local walks. Isla's Cottage is superbly located in Dufftown and is within a five minute walk of all amenities, including bars, Restaurants, shops, cafes and the local bus service.

Isla's Cottage is located within a ten minute walk to the famous Willam Grant Ltd Whisky Distillery where they produce Glenfiddich and Balvenie Malt whisky. Here you can enjoy tours, eat and treat yourself to something indulgent in the Glenfiddich shop. Therevare a number of other local distilleries all within a short drive, Macallan, Aberlour, Glenlivet, Glenfarclas, and Strath Isla to name but a few. The area is a haven for wildlife, red squirrels, deer, pine martins, Salmon, Ospreys are all regularly seen on local walks. Or take the half hour drive to the Moray coast, where you can enjoy an evening meal in any of the many harbour side restaurants or stroll along the beach and watch the sunset. If you are really lucky and timed your trip right you may even see the dancing Northern Lights, a sight to behold.
